Yahoo’s celebrity search rankings for 2009, acting newbie Maricar Reyes emerged as the most searched Filipino celebrity, besting such showbiz personalities as Kris Aquino, Angel Locsin and Marian Rivera who have had more established careers. Reyes’ claim to fame this year was unfortunately through the series of sex videos between her and celebrity doctor Hayden Kho which were leaked onto the Internet.
