GMA-7 tops year’s P2.8-billion profit target

GMA Network Inc., has already reached its entire 2009 target of P2.8 billion net income as of the end of last month and expects to do “much better” in the coming election year 2010, Chairman and CEO Felipe L. Gozon told reporters Monday night.

Rye Burgos Nina Kodaka Ian Batherson are the bottom 3 of the 2nd elimination night of GMA 7′s starstruck V. Before announcing the one that gets eliminated.. Nina was sent back to the group which left only the two boys, one of which will be eliminated tonight.
‘After the Rain’ GMA7 Christmas Special with Regine Velasquez

GMA 7 produced a special concert for the benefits of those who are badly affected by typhoon Ondoy and Pepeng.
“After the Rain” is a two-hour musical-documentary that will feature five heartwarming and inspiring stories of Ondoy victims. These stories were chosen by GMA-7’s research department and they will be told via footages and interviews. And in each story, appropriate inspirational songs will be rendered by Regine Velasquez and guest song artists
GMA 7′s Gozon receives Business Excellence award

GMA Network chairman, president and CEO Lawyer Felipe Gozon recently named one of the 2009 Business Excellence Awardees by BizNews Asia (BNA).
Gozon, among the first to receive the said honor, was cited for his overall management excellence, after transforming GMA Network into the “largest television station in the country.” He was responsible for increasing the network’s net income by more than 10-fold since assuming office in late 2000.

Sexy comedienne Francine Prieto has left “Bubble Gang,” which also coincided with the expiry of her exclusive contract with network giant, GMA-7.
