Do you remember the original 30 Days of Night movie? It’s about these vampires that flock Alaska because there’s a place there that is night time for 30 days! That’s a chilly thought if you’re afraid of vampires and other creatures of the night.

Plot summary

30 Days of Night was a three-issue miniseries that jump-started the careers of writer Steve Niles and artist Ben Templesmith. Vampires flock to Barrow, Alaska where the sun sets for about 30 days, allowing them to feed without the burden of sleep to avoid lethal sunlight. When the vampire elder Vicente learns of this plan, he travels to Barrow to end the feeding, in order to preserve the secrecy of vampires. Because of the cold, the vampires’ senses are weakened and a few of the town’s residents are able to hide. One such resident is Sheriff Eben Olemaun, who saves the town by injecting vampire blood into his veins. He uses his enhanced strength to fight Vicente, saving the lives of the few remaining townspeople, including his wife Stella. Suffering the same weakness as all vampires, Eben dies and turns to ash when the sun rises.

30 Days of Night: Dark Days is set to release in the US movies houses by October 5, 2010 for some other parts of the word.

Arnold Vegafria, Krista’s manager, voided rumors that his controversial talent is not pregnant. The rumor of pregnancy started from a tabloid columnist Ambet Nabus. Before she flew to the U.S. she had a medical check-up in an undisclosed hospital in Cebu last December 26, 2009.

Her manager defended her quickly for denial on the said rumor. Krista said she will spend the holidays in the U.S. as she always does with the rest of her family members who are based there. Also as to help out in the family’s new business that is a restaurant.

Both actresses Cristine Reyes and Heart Evangelista wary about the issues on them and had seems to be in good terms this New Year ahead. It seems that they have buried the hatchet in time for this year as well.

Observers noted that during the 2009 Metro Manila Film Festival Awards night at the SMX Center, Cristine and Heart reportedly avoided each other. But each of them had their friendly explanation which proves that the past is already past and there is nothing to talk about between them especially on their rivalry between the Actor Dennis Trillo.

“Panday” is a tribute to the late Fernando Poe Jr., Sen. Bong Revilla who plays the lead star, Flavio, stressed with pride during a recent press conference held at Annabel’s Morato. “Alay natin ito sa tunay na ‘Panday,’ na si FPJ, ang hari ng pelikulang Pilipino. Walang makakatapat sa kanya bilang Panday kaya naman pinagbuti namin ito para sa kanya.”

Long time couples Derek Ramsay and Angelica Panganiban said that they’ve been talking about marriage especially on the set of latest movie “I Love You Goodbye”, where they are starring, which is the Star Cinema’s official entry to this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival. It is directed by Director Laurice Guillen.

On where and when does not have exact information yet. But Derek seems to be the ultimate boyfriend, and Angelica surely impressed Derek on her acting. They were both thankful to ABS CBN that they were blessed on what’s going on with their career.

Ang Panday remake that was starred by Senator Bong Revilla, was done as tribute to the late King of the Filipino Movies who is Fernando Poe, Jr., said Director Mac Alejandre himself.

They really made it sure that they are very, very close to the way it was created by Carlo J. Caparas that it will not lose its essence. The movie was all star-casted especially that the villain “Lizardo” was played by Mr. Phillip Salvador.
